Sky 4 Covers has it's routes firmly in aviation, although like many textile businesses it owes alot to the fashion industry. Starting originally as a part of Sky4 Aviation (hence the name) we made wing bags for various vintage aeroplanes. However from time to time a customer would ask for a cover to go over thier nice new shiny refurb! As word spread we found we needed our own space and place so when Sky4 Aviation Moved accross the road we took over one of their old hangers. Since then we have built steadily on customer recommendation, deveoping new products according to our customer feedback. So from time to time we change a lineup, but many of the mainstays are still in there somewhere. We are not alone down here in East Devon, there is the Branscombe AIrfield Company, Ian is the manager and all visitors are carefully guided through his hands. Then there's Mike, Rob & Ron at SKy4aviation who we started with and use as our technical consultants when the going gets tough. The current airfield owner flys an SR22, we have half a douzen planes based here at the most but we do enjoy an 800 meter runway - so plenty of room for some of our bigger aeroplanes - we've had in Mustangs, Yak 11's & 52's, Hurricanes, Spitfires. Those which we cannot get in are sent upto Dunkeswell as we have a special arrangement with them and they welcome visitors warmly! So we have a great little team working together down here waiting to assist you in your next purchase.
